Batteries in the freezer: no good idea

Bingo! The camera was back! SOOOOO happy.

I disposed of the old batteries, and went to my freezer to get new.

I was shocked to find that the batteries had I in the refrigerator were all rust and fall apart (see the photo, that, which I clicked above.)

Seems, that in trying to get my batteries, I ended up destroying and waste money! And worse, I ruined almost an expensive digital camera.
