This year proved to be a disappointing year tax refund wisely. We get nowhere near 9 on almost $ 10,000 we received last year because our deductions changed (property tax reduction, education payments reduced, students loan interest reduction, etc.). Add a couple hundred to our savings, but there is no $ 9,000. We at least need not pay!
Did we change our deductions, because we have a child to claim and childcare write-offs but we decided to wait another year and see which next year falls on us. We do not want to put ourselves in a position that forces us to pay. I do not need this type of stress!
Whew! Another tax year over!
